Use current, approved, and safe source material
A useful source is specific enough to guide the draft, current enough to trust, aligned with brand voice, and safe to process. Supported sources may include HubSpot blogs, pages, landing pages, case studies, new text, uploaded documents, external URLs, connected Google Drive files where available, audio, podcasts, video, and images.
Before remixing a constituent story, confirm that the organization has permission to use it in every planned format. Consent for one article or event presentation may not cover advertising, social media, synthetic imagery, audio, or video.
Configure brand voice, then apply human judgment
Brand context can help drafts follow the nonprofit's tone, style, audience, mission description, preferred terminology, calls to action, reading level, and approach to discussing need and impact. Teams can also document avoided words, accessibility expectations, and the distinction between donors, supporters, members, volunteers, and program participants.
Brand configuration cannot decide whether a story is exploitative, whether consent covers a new use, whether a statistic is accurate, whether a legal claim is safe, or whether a sensitive situation is represented fairly. Those decisions remain with people.
